Price
The fee is a total project fee, and not based on hourly rates. The total project fee is determined by the scope of the following dimensions:
- Number of client interviews conducted
- Number of brands included
- Market scope of campaigns being measured (local, regional, U.S., global)
- Campaign types: offline or online (digital) or a mix
- Number of different campaigns
- Each campaign’s product mix (number of different products included in campaign)
- Type of ROMI revenue forecasted (top line or net)

Your time
If you are the project’s primary contact, this work will require 3-6 hours of your time. There are six steps in the process that will require your time.
- Client Interview – You participate in a (1-2 hours) phone interview to explore your objectives and goals for the campaign and document the specifications and details of the campaign.
- Presentation of Creative Brief – You receive a draft of the Creative Brief and you and your team review it, provide input and approvals. (2-4 hours)

Process
Below are the specific steps and tasks performed by The ROM Group for this work.
Step 1 >> Client Insights: In this step, ROM Group business strategists interview you and key members of your team (based on your selection) to explore your objectives and goals for the campaign. We gather and document all of the details of the campaign. These interviews go deeper than simply documenting the details of the campaign, allowing us to understand what you’re really trying to accomplish for the brand.
- An ROM Group senior business strategist conducts in-depth interviews with a custom mix of the following (to be determined by you):
- Yourself
- Members of your brand team
- Members of the company’s leadership team (if appropriate)
- Ownership (if appropriate)
- Key marketing, advertising and sales staffs
- Key vendors, including ad agencies, design firms, web design firms, etc.
- Conducted within 5 days based on the availability of your team members to be interviewed.
Step 2 >> Creative Brief: This step provides you with the completed Creative Brief which will be the agreed to blueprint for your campaign.
- ROM Group business strategist and campaign manager collaboratively create the finished Creative Brief which includes the following sections and content:
- Project Management – Provides basic project information including client, project or campaign, agency, brand, and contact information.
- Current Brand Position – Clear statement of the brand’s current position, its history and background, key issues it faces including product description (key attributes and benefits), manufacturing or service delivery, distribution channels, market size (volume and value), customer usage data, the brand’s positioning, its history of brand communications, competitive brands/products and their communications activity, etc.
- Campaign/Project Objectives – Clearly define the ROMI performance objectives for the campaign or project.
- Current Efforts – Clearly define what are the current brand and marketing strategies, and the programs already in place.
- Campaign Strategy/Plan – Clearly define the campaign strategy including rationale and supporting research or data. Also clearly define the full details of the campaign plan including messaging, media mix, etc.
- Target Audience – Clearly define the target audience using traditional segmentation descriptors and behavioral consumption descriptors.
- Performance Measurement – Clearly define the ROMI performance measurement objectives and the ROMI measurement program to be employed during the campaign.
- Mandatory’s – Campaign or project specifications including budget, timing, logo or identity specs, legal specs, etc.
- Creative Brief is presented to you for review, input and approval.
- Final Creative Brief is delivered.
- Delivery within two weeks.
