We measure these four key metrics in real time and conduct a formal review with you on a weekly basis. During the weekly review, we assess the performance of the program. If the performance is following historic norms, we will recommend no changes. If the performance is not meeting expectations, we will recommend changes and will implement these changes quickly. Performance Measurement is valuable because it tells you whether you are doing the right things long before the program begins generating qualified leads and sales. This early stage can be challenging for marketers and sales people. This period of the program requires patience. Visitors will register and a sales person's instincts are to immediately call and close. This activity has only two possible results: failure to close (disappointment); and an unsubscribed lead (lost opportunity). |
